Journal entry #10

The cops found Dr. Jekyll's appartment.  They saw this really high tech door that had so many locks, they had to call a lock smith.  It took the lock smith 2 hours to get the door open.  The cops see that this is his office.  Meanwhile, another group of cops find Mr. Hyde on an a street.  They bring him to the appartment.  The cops find a beaker filled with a strange liquid.  When  Mr. Hyde sees the liqud, he goes crazy and runs for the liquid and drinks it.  All of the sudden,  he turns into Dr. Jekyll.  Thge cops now know that Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll are the same person.

Journal entry #9

The cops found Dr. Lanyon's will. It said he was leaving everything to Dr. Jekyll.  Everybody thought this was strange because one day after he went missing, they found Dr. Lanyon's will.  The search for Dr. Jekyll now begins.

Journal entry #8

Dr. Jekyll went missing.  Some of his patients had to be canciled because they couldn't find him.  Mr. Utterson thought this was very strange.  He knows his friend would never go anywhere with out telling anyone.  His main goal now was to find Dr. Jekyll.

Journal entry #7

Mr. Hyde sent the cops a letter.  It said that he was going to be the most dangerious person on the street.  He would be the toughest person to catch.  And other mean words.  This made the cops want to get Mr. Hyde even more.

Journal entry #6

Another person was found dead in the street.  It was a, tall, muscular man.  He had shoe marks on his chest.  This is just like the little girl.  The cops would have never thought a man like him would ever go down.  All this proves is Mr. Hyde is even more dangerious.

Journal entry #5

Dr. Lanyon(Dr. Jekyll's best Friend) was found dead in his appartment.  The cops think it was Mr. Hyde once again.  When Mr. Utterson told Dr. Jekyll, he sat there not even caring.  Mr. Utterson thought this was strange because they were best friends. This made Mr. Utterson wonder.

The cops found a witness to the murder case.  She said the man was Mr. Hyde.  She described him as tall, thin, black hair, wearing a suit, and white.  The cops knew that that was Mr. Hyde.  The search for Mr. Hyde now begins.

Journal entry #3

A little girl was found murdered in a street.  The cops did not know who did it.  They found shoe marks on the little girls body.  This was very strange because that meant that someone litterally ran over her.  Besides that, the cops did not have any leads. This now becomes a mystery.

Journal entry #2

Another theme in my book is never trust anyone.  I chose this because Mr. Utterson(Dr. Jekyll's best friend) didn't know that his best friend and worst enemy are the same person.  Mr. Hyde commited murder.  That means Dr. Jekyll commited murder and Mr. Utterson would have never thought that Dr. Jekyll would commite murder.  This is another theme in my book.

Journal entry #1

The theme of the book "Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde" is looks can be decieving.  I chose this because Dr. Jekyll is a very nice man, but when he is Mr Hyde, he is evil.  They look the same except for his hair and clothes.  Mr. Hyde's clothes are ripped and his hair is more spickey.  This is one of the themes in the book "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde".

Random facts about leprechauns

There are many random facts about leprechauns like the leprechaun is a type of male fairy.  Leprechauns talk in the form of old men even though they never grow older.  Leprechauns were made to make shoes and a person who makes shoes is called a cobbler.

Holidays and movies that deal with leprechauns

St. Patrick's Day is a major holiday about leprechauns, luck, and Ireland.  St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th.  There are many movies about leprechauns, but there is one I especially like and it is on Disney channel.  It is the Luck of the Irish.  It is about a boy who is Irish and got his lucky coin taken away from him and now has to get it back because the coin was really lucky and he is now turning into a leprechaun.

Symbols that relate to leprechauns

When people think of leprechauns, they think of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  People also think of St. Patrick's Day.  This is a major holiday in Ireland.  One last symbol that deals with leprechauns is good luck.

Origin of leprechauns

Leprechaun stories originated from Ireland.  It is felt that leprechauns are a mix of evil spirits and bad fairies.  Some stories say that the leprechauns are the Irish son god named Lug.  It is pronounced luck over here.  That is why Americans think of good luck when they think of leprechauns.

Personality of a leprechaun

Leprechauns are very smart, clever, and mischievous creatures.  They love to play tricks on people.  Tricks they play on people are usually harmless.  They like to drink, dance, and play music when they are not out having fun playing tricks on people.  Overall, they are very smart, playful creatures.

Special abilities of a leprechaun

When a treasure hunter finds a leprechaun, the leprechaun must give them 3 wishes.  They can only get the 3 wishes if the leprechaun doesn't use his power of hypnotism and trickery to escape the treasure hunter.  This can only happen if the treasure hunter takes his eyes off of the leprechaun.  Leprechauns have a special ability to vanish very quickly.

Appearance of a leprechaun

Leprechauns are about 3 feet tall. They have a cocked hat and a red or green jacket with 7 rows of buttons and 7 buttons on each row for a total of 49 buttons.  Before the 20th century, stories described leprechauns dressed in red, not green.  Leprechauns wear heavy leather shoes with silver buckles.

Why I chose leprechauns

For my project, I am doing a leprechaun. I am doing it because I think it is very cool and an interesting creature to study. There are many random interesting facts about leprechauns like, they were created to make shoes.
